The Masque Theatre
25th May 2025
Volunteer Open Day at the Masque
Whether you're a familiar face or just a little theatre-curious, this is your cue to get involved!
Our annual Volunteer Open Day is your backstage pass to all things Masque.
It’s a chance for existing volunteers to refresh their knowledge, connect with the team, and get the latest updates on what’s new.
It’s also open to anyone curious about getting involved. Whether you're interested in tech, helping Front of House, costumes, supporting youth programmes, being onstage or just lending a hand—this is a great way to find out more.

BEHIND THE MASQUE
Directed by Kerith Coulson
Written by Xander Zweig
Step into the foyer of the Masque, where everything is almost ready for opening night... until things go comically wrong!
Add in a mysteriously missing actor, a snack vendor with a dramatic flair, and a barman in the middle of an existential crisis, and you've got the makings of a truly chaotic evening.
A light-hearted, fast-paced comedy, Behind the Masque gives audiences a playful look at the “show behind the show”—the messy, funny, and all-too-relatable world of theatre volunteers doing their best under pressure.
