The Dropped Baby - Play Reading

For October's play reading, we're delving we're delving into The Dropped Baby by Alex Learmont.

The evening will include a table read of the play by actors, followed by a discussion of the work. The discussion will be led by Melanie O'Connor Horn and a panel of experts. Input from the audience is most welcome!

More about the writer, Alex Learmont

Alex Learmont was born in Scotland in 1942. Now resident in Cape Town, Alex was active in film production until 2018 as writer/director/cameraman in corporate communication, training, educational docudrama, international news and current affairs.

Alex has written short stories, four unpublished novels and approximately 400 short film scripts, but The Dropped Baby is his first play.

THINGS TO KNOW:

* You are welcome to take your food and drink into the theatre, but please be sure to return your glass to the bar afterwards.

* Strict admittance policy - no entry after the show start time. Latecomers will be admitted entry at intermission.

* Children are not permitted to sit on laps.

* No flash photography or videography is allowed.

* Outside food and drink are not permitted in the theatre; we kindly invite you to enjoy the refreshments available for purchase inside.

* Tickets purchased are not transferable or refundable.
